Aliens: Colonial Marines is a shooter set in the time between "Aliens" (= Alien 2) and Alien 3. The game was developed by Gearbox and released in 2013. Fans of the Alien franchise are most likely to have fun in multiplayer, but the single-player campaign is unfortunately neither graphically nor story-wise appealing (a lot of logical errors, bad dialog, embarrassing characters). But it's best to form your own opinion based on my summary of the story!
