Masters of the Universe Origins Snake Mountain Playset Review - Bigger, Bolder, and Full of Surprises!

Hey there, He-Man and She-Ra fans! It's Pixel Dan here, and today I've got something truly epic to share with you all - the Masters of the Universe Origins Snake Mountain Playset! In this video, we'll dive into the box art that showcases all your favorite MOTU characters and figures. Trust me; it's a nostalgia trip you won't want to miss!

But the fun doesn't stop there! I'll also walk you through the assembly process, which is surprisingly straightforward thanks to the included instructions. And let's talk about that snake – it's a breeze to attach, despite the initial concerns.

Comparing it to the original Snake Mountain, this one's a giant! Plus, that bridge is now a single solid piece. The plastic is a tad softer than the vintage playset, but it's sturdier overall. When closed, it resembles Castle Grayskull, making it a fantastic addition to your MOTU collection.

Opening it up, we reveal exciting features like a new mountain peak, menacing demon faces carved into the rocks, and a bridge with foot pegs for display purposes (as you'll see in the video). Those shackles are back, but this time, they won't break on you. The demon face with its movable mouth is a fantastic touch, even though there's no microphone this time around.

The wolf head has become an articulating piece, adding some versatility. The snake steals the show with incredible detail and articulation – swiveling, rotating, and even opening its mouth. Get ready for some stunning action figure photography!

Speaking of figures, the snake can't swivel to trap them like the original, but there's a trap door and a movable dungeon cage to compensate. It's a fun twist on the classic net.

Now, about that swamp – it's brought to life with a dragon and frog, thanks to some clever pegs. The figures can interact with them, making it a truly immersive experience. And yes, Skeletor finally gets his Bone Throne!

Behind the throne, you'll find the electronics that used to be hidden by a sticker on the original. However, I have to admit that the stickers on this new Snake Mountain playset aren't as impressive as the ones from back in the day.

But wait, there's more! The playset includes a weapons rack with bright green weapons, perfect for arming your heroes and villains. There's also a ladder with notches, but be warned – it can be a bit wobbly.

So, fellow collectors, join me in this review and exploration of the Masters of the Universe Origins Snake Mountain Playset. It's an incredible addition to your MOTU collection, and it's time to relive the magic!
