We’re heading back to the mountains after four days at home. It’s the end of March 2023, and we’re in the middle of the season for our weeklong dog sledding adventures. Together with four guests and 28 of our Siberian Huskies, we leave Jokkmokk and head out back on the trails towards the mountains in the west. It’s a thrilling experience moving from the woodlands up to the high mountains, living the simple cabin life with overnights in cozy wood huts, facing changing weather conditions, getting to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), and finally ending up at Saltoluokta Mountain Lodge.

We are Stina & Matti and we live in Northern Sweden in a small place called Jokkmokk.
