In this video, Steve with Upstart Epoxy demonstrates how to properly perform a seal coat versus a flood coat. When preparing to flood a piece that you were working on it is common to seal the surface of your piece so that no imperfections appear. If there are deep divots or holes within the surface that you were working on it is likely that in order to successfully achieve a flood coat you may have to perform multiple seal coats. We have had experiences where one flood coat is all it took and we have had experiences where it’s taken multiple so in this video we demonstrate how to go about doing it and how to finish the backside of the piece post-flood coat.
