[KiniNews] Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli has been released on MACC bail after anti-graft investigators finished recording his statement regarding alleged abuse of power.

This was confirmed by MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki when contacted around 4pm today.

He also confirmed that the menteri besar was indeed detained by the agency

Meanwhile, in a separate story, the MACC suspects that one of the four Bugatti Veyron hypercars seized in Munich, Germany, was purchased by Jho Low using funds from 1MDB.

According to a source cited by Utusan Malaysia, the remaining cars allegedly belonged to Khadem al-Qubaisi, former managing director of the International Petroleum Investment Company, and Mohamed Ahmed Badawy al-Husseiny, ex-CEO of Aabar, both implicated in the scandal.
