The Alpine Loop - Colorado - Part 1

In this adventure my wife and I ran the Alpine Loop and a few other linked trails as a pre-run for our family adventures coming up the 4th of July week. Some of the trails had just opened for the season and there was a lot of snow still on the trail. We started the Alpine Loop on the Mineral Creek trail then moved to Engineer Pass, Lake City (Lunch), Cinnamon Pass, Animas Fork, California Pass and backtracked out to Silverton. It was a long but very scenic day.
