Two months after the first case of coronavirus in Italy, in the country there were more than 180 thousand people infected and about 25 thousand official deaths, half of them in the region of Lombardy.
Why has Italy reached one of the highest death rates caused by coronavirus? We went through the last two months that ultimately change the story of this country, starting from February 21, the day in which the first Italian case of Covid was detected. This story starts from the tsunami that, on that day, hit all the hospitals in the North of Italy, the frontline of this healthcare emergency, going through the closure of several areas and the restrictions to personal freedom, that completely shocked our lives.
