Cherokee Flute Prayer At Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge

This past weekend I had the good fortune of meeting Cherokee of Georgia tribal member Emory "Squirrel" Perkins while videoing on location at the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.

While on a boat tour of the swamp, Squirrel began playing his flute for us taking the entire experience to another level.

His beautiful flute playing next to this mature cypress at the edge of the swamp was magical.
