How much to feed dogs when DIY raw feeding?

1️⃣ Calculate what percentage of body weight starting with 3%. I also like to use the @feedrealmovement calculator to confirm because it also takes into account activity and more.

2️⃣ I always weigh my dogs' meals with a kitchen scale. I can't eyeball their meals. When weighing, I consider the entire meal. I don't weigh various ingredients (fish, duck feet, eggs, etc.)

3️⃣ I adjust their meals based on if they're gaining/losing weight. Each dog is unique, and even the best online raw feeding calculator can't get it perfectly 👌🏾 - so I watch my dogs, weigh them monthly, and adjust their meals accordingly.

4️⃣ I also adjust meals based on what they ate during the day - lots of training treats, rich raw meaty bones, etc.

5️⃣ I fast my dogs once weekly to boost their gut microbiome and immune system while encouraging a healthy detox and giving the digestive system a break.
