Here it is: the new Lexus NX. The second-generation 2022 NX sits on the TNGA platform, so it should be much improved to drive. Plus, it’s available with a brand new, exclusive to Lexus 2.4-litre turbo petrol engine, plus a new PHEV! There’s also standard petrol and hybrid engines available. The PHEV hasn’t been confirmed for Australia at this stage. Should the plug in NX come here?

The size is about the same as the old NX, but the 2022 NX sports an all new design outside and particularly inside where it scores a huge new 14 inch touchscreen, plus wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
