This is an unedited video shot in 1080p of the AT&SF Steam Locomotive 3751 doing a high speed pass. It was taken on May 2, 2010, at the Carlsbad, CA, Poinsettia Station.
My six year old son is with me and you can hear me in the video telling him to keep low as the train is about to steam through the station at 60mph. My wife and daughter are on board in the full dome car (4th car from the end). We rode the train that day from Downtown San Diego to Oceanside, California.
A Canon 7D with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens was used to take the video.
