First flight of the SSD, "Simplest Simple Delta" flying wing. I was nervous about flying an elevon control airplane but my fears were unfounded. It's a great elevon trainer. Not twitchy at all.

It's made from foam poster board with the paper left on. If it crashes, no big deal. It only takes a couple of hours to build.

Not my design, though I made a few changes to the original. I put the motor up front and added landing gear. Plans and instructions are at:
