Intel today is announcing the opening of its new D1X Mod 3 expansion at its Hillsboro Oregon manufacturing facility. With 270k+ sq ft more clean room space, tools are slowly coming in and brought online. The D1X site, formerly known as Ronler Acres, is to be renamed Gordon Moore Park. I toured D1X back in December, and was able to film this short video inside.
