The Professor (Clive Owen from Close Your Eyes, Closer and Children of Men) tracks Bourne (Matt Damon from The Martian, The Great Wall and Downsizing) with a sniper rifle, but Bourne manages to be covered by shooting on a house, the explosion provoking a dense smoke. Bourne runs to catch the Professor and manages to trap him while he is hiding in a field, Bourne shoots him, mortally wounding him. The Professor reveals their shared connection to Treadstone before dying.
