You won't believe what your car's rearview mirror will do next.
Gentex is the largest supplier of mirrors in U.S. cars and they're preparing a mirror that automatically spots blind spot threats and displays them in the corners of a video rear view mirror. Video rearview mirrors aren't entirely new - the Cadillac CT6 offered the first one a couple of years ago - but actively showing blind spot issues only when they are sensed by the car is a new, anticipatory wrinkle.
