So far, in a little less than three years, I've purchased 11 variations of the AWGM100 G-Shock watch. It's a great watch. It's one of the smaller G-Shocks. Now I've decided to try out the GAW-100. It's more of a medium-sized G-Shock. The functions and features of the GAW-100 are almost identical to those of the AWGM100. The only major difference, besides the overall size, is that the GAW-100 has a brighter and, I'd say, a much better light feature for night viewing. But if you know how to use the AWGM100 then you already know how to use the GAW-100, along with other G-Steel watches like the large-size GST-W100, GST-W110, GST-W130 and the medium-sized GST-W300 and GST-W330. The corresponding buttons on these watches will do all of the same things. The modules which all work the same way are modules 5230, 5444, 5515, 5524 and 5580. The specific watch featured in this video is a GAW-100B-1A2.

All of the watches I've mentioned so far have Casio's Tough Solar feature to charge the power supply with regular exposure to normal lighting. They have Multiband 6 for automatic time synchronization with atomic clocks in different parts of the northern hemisphere. They have a world time mode, 60-minute stopwatch, up to 100-minute countdown timer, hourly chime and five daily alarms. They are available in a wide variety of color combinations and the G-Steel models are available with metal bracelets or non-metal straps.
