This grease plug (collar screw or screw plug) can easily fall out if loose and MOST PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW IT'S MISSING!! BE WARNED that dirt and debris will mix with the grease inside the gear case to become gritty and cause wear and tear on the gears. This will cause your trimmer head to wear out prematurely. This applies to straight shaft weedeaters, trimmers and brush cutters.
