You can buy a used Audi e-tron for the same price as a brand new Skoda Enyaq – yes, we knew that would get your attention. And when we say used, many of the used e-trons on classified websites are pre-reg cars with virtually zero miles on them.

That means you can get a luxurious electric SUV with a fashionable badge on it nose for the same price as a Skoda Enyaq or a VW ID.4 in many cases.

Yes, it may not have the latest registration number on its number plate but you'd be getting a near brand new car with a whopping saving on the list price.

So, is this half-price bargain a true bargain or should you avoid? Nicki Shields finds out.
