This latest update version of DJI Fly App 1.2.4 fixes the compass error of the previous Fly App update which resulted in an error of 90 degrees on the compass locating the drone. The compass is now correct and the indicator on the blue dot will point to the drone when the transmitter is pointed in the direction of the drones actual location. This is a very welcome and important fix to the Fly App so that the pilot can once again know the direction of the drone and be able to point the transmitter antenna directly at the drone for the best control and reception.
LATE EDIT: A word of caution to anyone watching this video. DJI just came out with another updated DJI Fly app 1.2.5. Reports from others who have downloaded this new update state that is has reversed the Compass orientation so that it is now off by 180 degrees! If you have downloaded 1.2.4 my suggestion would be to skip the latest update 1.2.5 until DJI resolves this issue and corrects it.
