The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has hit another snag with another two week delay. This after the defence accused the state of a trial by ambush.
The state this morning introduced new evidence relating to cellphone communication between all the accused dating back to 2018.
Cellphone data analyst Gideon Gouws was due back on the stand.
The trial was postponed on Tuesday to allow the defence time to consult with the accused.
Five men are on trial for the gunning down of the Bafana Bafana captain at singer Kelly Khumalo's parental home in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg in October 2014.
The state had earlier confirmed that all outstanding documents were handed to the defence.
