The Dodge Challenger hasn’t been fully redesigned since the 2008 model year, but that’s not expected to change anytime soon. Despite entering its 15th model year on sale without a full update, it is expected the 2022 Dodge Challenger to be a carryover model.

Available Challenger already have 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, two USB ports, Bluetooth and six audio speakers as standard features. If you want some lower bass, then options include 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and an 8.4-inch touch screen with navigation option. It will probably stay the same in the 2022 model year.

Its expected Dodge to continue to offer a wide range of powertrains with the 2022 Challenger. The standard engine in the current Challenger is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 303 horsepower. Also there are five available V8 engines. The first V8 is a 5.7-liter unit that makes 372 hp. The next step up is a 6.4-liter V8 that makes 485 hp. Then, there are the three supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engines. Three available outputs include 717 hp, 797 hp, and 807 hp. All-wheel drive is only available with the standard V6 engine. Most engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic.
