I Made Cruella's Fire Transformation Costume with REAL FIRE | Louise Katzovitz

Come along as I DIY the fire transformation costume from the 2021 Disney Cruella movie. I'll be making both the cape and the dress underneath, and some real graphics for the flame transformation. I make both the fiery red ball gown, satin cape, and all the accessories go along with it!

For the movie magic effects, I sewed a miniature cape out of nitrocellulose, also known as flash paper or flash cotton, and was able to create incredible visual effects.

I've always loved transformations in movies, and it's even better when it's on the runway and the transformations are REAL. I'm the type of person to gasp audibly, and transforming garments does it for me. I'm so happy that I got to make this, and I hope you gasp while watching this!
