Chris Rock is calling out the Academy because of his dear friend Adam Sandler. For the unversed Adam, who has given many critically lauded performances in his decades-long career, has not been nominated for a single Oscar.

During the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, Rock called out the Academy while he was praising Sandler for the outstanding work he has done, specifically in the 2019 movie Uncut Gems and for the other hit movies such as Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

However, the Academy has still never nominated him for his impeccable performance. During the event Chris added that we all do work hard but none works harder as Adam Sandler. Further referencing to the Oscar snubs he added that Oscars are always tipped to favoriting. In his career of three-long-decades, the actor has given hits like Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and Punch Drunk Love
