Ever since Cupra broke out from under the Seat umbrella a few years ago, it's been a brand that's done things differently. Take the new Born EV as an example. Yes, it's an all-electric hatchback that uses all the same electric car bits and bobs as the VW Group's other EV offerings including the VW ID.3 and ID.4, Skoda Enyaq and Audi Q4 E-Tron. However, while those are offered as roomy, comfortable, family-friendly hatchbacks and SUVs, the Born is going for a much sportier vibe, attempting to be the hot hatch of the bunch. The question is, does it succeed?
