David takes the sensible approach of making and selling things in small batches. That way he can't get overwhelmed by accepting more orders than he's capable of fulfilling. Basically the opposite of Kickstarter. Only promising what he can deliver.

Q) Something something something SCREEN BURN?
A) There are mitigating measures in the software that shift the image over time and David tells me he made these twenty years ago using the same tubes and those are still fine. However I'd strongly suggest that if you're the nervous type who insists on firm guarantees, then this really is not the device for you. This is a hobbyist product, made by one bloke for enthusiasts. Oscilloscope tubes were never intended to be used like this, that's the charm of the device - it's unusual…but along with the unusual comes the unknown. Screen burn worriers would be better off steering clear and instead getting themselves a regular mass produced clock. No CRT screen = no worries about screen burn.

A) Patrons   / techmoan   usually have early access to videos. I'll show the first version of a video on Patreon and often the feedback I get results in a video going through further revisions to improve it. e.g. Fix audio issues, clarify points, add extra footage or cut extraneous things out. The video that goes live on youtube is the final version.
