Released in 2004, directed by Sam Rami, and starring Tobey Maguire, Spider-Man 2 follows the consequences that being Spider-Man has on Peter Parker’s personal life as he struggles between fulfilling his responsibility and going after what he wants in life, all while fighting against Dock Ock.
