Liberal Senator Alex Antic has called on the education system to be “looked at” because kids are being taught to “hate their country”.

“The education system has to be looked at,” Mr Antic told Sky News Australia.

“This is something that we need to take very, very seriously into the next period.

“I’d like to see it being pushed immediately because we’re losing generations of kids to cultural self-loathing.

“I mean, kids are being taught, in many instances, to grow up hating their country.”
