The White Lantern Corps is a fictional organization appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. They are a part of the larger Green Lantern mythos, which revolves around the Guardians of the Universe, a group of powerful beings who created the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force.

The White Lantern Corps represents the embodiment of life itself and draws its power from the White Light of creation. White Lanterns are extremely rare and possess immense power, allowing them to wield the entire emotional spectrum, unlike the other Lantern Corps which each represent a specific emotion (e.g., green for willpower, red for rage, etc.).

The concept of the White Lantern was introduced during the "Blackest Night" storyline in the mid-2000s, where it played a pivotal role in combating the Black Lantern Corps, which represented death and sought to extinguish all life. The White Lanterns, embodying life, were instrumental in the conflict against the Black Lanterns.

One of the most notable White Lanterns in DC Comics is Kyle Rayner, who was a member of the Green Lantern Corps before becoming a White Lantern during the events of "Blackest Night." As a White Lantern, he gained access to incredible power and played a crucial role in various storylines involving cosmic-level threats to the universe.
