The Elantra N is the hottest new sport compact and in this video I review it on the street, track and autocross course to see what it's like with both the DCT transmission and the manual transmission. With 276 hp, it already beats most of its competitors from a power standpoint. Add to that an adjustable exhaust and cabin noises that both sound great, lots of high-tech performance toys, and fantastic handling, and you basically have an unbeatable combination that makes most competitors look underwhelming by comparison. We don't know pricing yet, but Hyundai's usual strong value proposition will most likely sweeten the deal on the Elantra N, as does its 10 year/ 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
