Bach, as you all know, had 20 children, and unfortunately only ten of them survived. He was very much a family man, and he was very concerned with the education of his children so that they would not be ignored by the nobility. And there were many composers in his family, and the youngest son, Johann Christian Bach, seems to have been the most successful of them all. He was Mozart's teacher, and he was also a composer who earned the nickname Bach of London, but on the other hand, Karl Philipp Emanuel Bach, despite being recognized for his talent, lived and died very poor. The compositions labeled C.P..E Bach on the screen are by Karl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and those labeled J.c. Bach are by Johann Christian Bach.
