Just this evening, Tesla has finally launched the long awaited Full Self Driving Subscription Model. We now have the details and availability of this long awaited option.

The FSD Subscription model allows you to add FSD without paying the $10,000 price tag. That $10k stays with the car, meaning you don't get that back when trading in. A subscription model on the other hand means you can add FSD to your Tesla when you want it, and cancel the subscription when you don't need it.

Adding the subscription was super easy and did not even require a download to the car. After purchase, simply turn on the FSD features you want your car to start using.

With all that said, $199 per month and $99 per month is still a lot of money. The flexibility of doing this month to month helps, but make sure you understand your Tesla driving habits before pulling the trigger.
