Should we abandon hadiths altogether? Dr. Shabir Ally explains that the #hadith literature is useful information that we can use to study the past and reconstruct the speech and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This information has been fragmented or distorted slightly, but scholars today can try to adjust the noise. He also explains that the #Quran tells #Muslims to follow the Prophet Muhammad: his function is to explain the Quran.

This video concludes our series, “Can we trust hadith?”
