Facing a New Age explores contemporary issues as gay men grow old, common fears and misconceptions, and important details many LGBTQ people don't consider until decades have slipped away.

Don't let your age take you by surprise. Facing a New Age considers several perspectives from gay men of all ages on the topic of ageism and growing old, and the issues uniquely facing gay men--with some hopeful advice from those who have already been down that road.

Facing a New Age was produced and directed by Austen Hoogen in 2008 in cooperation with the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and Gay City Health Project.

This premiere is the first time this important documentary film has been shown in its entirety since its world premiere in December, 2008, at the Northwest Film Forum in Seattle.
