In July 2020, Mattel reintroduced the Color Changers series with the first wave, featuring Cars 3 Lightning McQueen, Dinoco Cruz Ramirez, Piston Cup Champion Jackson Storm, Francesco Bernoulli, Brand New Mater and Paul Conrev. This marks the fourth packaging style for the Color Changers line, following the 2010, 2011 and 2015 motifs. The series has so far only been found at USA Target stores and Canadian Toys-R-Us stores.
