Laser etching metal with a CO2 laser cutter requires an etching compound in order to leave a mark. The most popular laser etching compound is a great product called Cermark, but it’s a little pricy. In this video I’ll show you how you can use a can of Industrial Dry Molybdenum (Moly) Lube to achieve similar / adequate results.
