New figures from the Office for National Statistics have revealed thousands of extra deaths in care homes in England and Wales - both from Covid-19 and other causes.

The Health Secretary Matt Hancock promised that all care home residents and staff in England are being tested for coronavirus, pledging every resident and staff member will have been tested by early June.

But families of younger care home residents - those aged under 65, with learning disabilities - have also raised concerns about access to testing for their loved ones.
