A language that is unique to the Jewish nation is holier, so using Yiddish to study Torah keeps the Torah as holy as possible, which is admirable for native Yiddish speakers. The difficulty is when children who are not fluent in Yiddish translate from Hebrew to Yiddish, and today's educators are moving away from this.
