Building Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster kit

Mk4 Roadster Complete Kit contains the following parts with additional options chosen when ordering:
- Complete jig-welded original style 4” round tube frame
- Hand laid 3/16” laminate composite body and panels made with vinylester resin.
- Over 40 laser cut, pre-formed 6061-T6 aluminum panels for cock pit, trunk, and engine bay.
- Unequal length A-arm control arms with coil-over shock suspension.
- Front Brakes, front rear rotors with twin piston PBR aluminum calipers, brake pads and fasteners
- Complete steering system using steering rack from tie rod ends and fasteners to vintage steering wheel and badges; collapsible design.
- Fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel cap.
- Electric cooling fan and mounting hardware, radiator hoses, and fasteners.
- Side exhaust pipes
- Integrated harness and electronic gauges
- Authentic style seats, door latches, toggles, rear view mirror
- 5-point Simpson brand harnesses
- Authentic 14” wood and aluminum steering wheel
- Wilwood brand pedal box

Optional parts added to the Factory Five complete kit:
- 2015 IRS rear suspension, including center section
- IRS brakes kit with calipers, brake pads and fasteners
- Power steering components
- 15” Halibrand style wheels and tires
- Passenger side roll bar

Additionally we have purchased an engine and transmission combo from BluePrint Engines, which includes:
- Ford 347 c.i. Carbureted engine
- installed TKO 600 performance aluminum bell 5-Speed Transmission
- Polished 1-wire 100 amp Alternator
- Power Steering pump
- Fuel pump

Build processes included the following steps:
- Building front suspension, including front upper and lower control arms, installing front coil over shock assembly, spindles and front brakes
- Building rear suspension, including installing IRS center section, lower control arms, IRS coil over shocks, CV axels, spindles, upper control arms, rear brake rotors and calipers
- Assembling pedal box, including accelerator pedal, brakes pedal, clutch pedal
- Installing steering system, including steering rack and steering shaft
- Installing aluminum panels, including firewall and driver footbox, passenger footbox panels, right and left floor, transmission tunnel corners and cover, cockpit rear corners, trunk aluminum
- Installing fuel tank, including fuel tank vent, fuel pickup, filler neck, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel lines
- Installing break system, including brake reservoirs, front and rear brake lines, bleeding brakes
- Installing chassis wiring harness, including fuse box
- Installing engine and transmission, including transmission mount and drive safety loop
- Installing engine ground, battery mounting and cables
- Installing engine headers and side exhaust pipe
- Connecting engine to fuel line
- Connecting sending unit wiring to sensors in engine
- Installing cooling system, including fan mounting, radiator mounting , radiator hoses, overflow tank and connecting fan wiring
- Setting up emergency brakes, including e-brake handle, cables and adjusting it
- Installing a driveshaft adapter and IRS driveshaft
- Setting up axle and fuel tank vents
- Installing driver and passenger seats
- Setting up gauges and dashboard, horns and horn button, steering wheel
- Installing driver side rollbar
- Mounting the body, including rear and front quick jacks
- Installing doors, hood and trunk
- Installing windshield, side mirror, windshield wipers, rear view mirror
- Installing rear turn signals and tail lights, license plate light, headlights, front turn signals
- Installing interior carpet, emergency brake boot, shifter handle and boot, gas cap
- Installing aluminum splash guards, installing wheels.

And this completes our build.
