This is a small, remote, primitive campground just south of the Bighorn mountains in north central Wyoming. Outlaw Cave Campground sits on the edge of Middle Fork Canyon, overlooking the middle fork of the Powder River (not all sites are on the edge) and is managed by the BLM Buffalo Field Office (307)684-1100. Popular for fishing, hiking, and hunting.
There is a vault toilet, but no garbage collection, so pack out your trash.
