Some of Brunel's outstanding engineering achievements, many of which are well known and remain in use to this day. From his railways, bridges and viaducts to the first tunnel under the River Thames, the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the magnificent SS Great Britain.
Others, like his hospital for troops during the Crimean War and the introduction of UK Standard Time are perhaps less known about.
This documentary explores briefly much of the work that remains his legacy and shaped the world as we know it today.
