Leading up to Canadian Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, August 29, Penguin Random House Canada is spotlighting a Canadian independent bookstore every Friday at 3 p.m. EST.

Our inaugural #IndieFeatureFriday spotlight included a virtual event in which Giller Prize-winning author Ian Williams interviewed Itah Sadu, co-owner of A Different Booklist, a Toronto-based, independent, multicultural bookstore specializing in books from the African Caribbean Diaspora and the Global South.
