We all know that 2020 has been one heck of a year - and it doesn't show signs of easing up any time soon.

With COVID-19 and many more things causing economic uncertainty and threats of a recession looming, electric vehicle sales in the U.S. are tanking -- even though electric car sales in Europe are on the rise.

Despite this however, the latest analysis from Wood Mackenzie states that its previous predictions for EV adoption over the next 20 years have been dialled back due to everything that 2020 is dealing out.

But there's good news too -- EV battery development is progressing faster than they'd previously predicted.
