No paint was used on the outside of this hood and I DO NOT suggest using paint on the outside. The paint will flake and chip off quickly on the outside surface.

Recommended SPOT WELD Process with PLASTIX-27
(This step can be used in place of the hot staples)
Sand the Surface
Add IRF
Let it cure for 15-20 seconds

Recommended Process for:
ONE LAYER Repair
Sand the Surface
Place Mesh with Adhesive down
Add IRF
Apply Liquid Activator
Let it cure for 15-20 seconds
Sand the surface

TWO LAYER Repair
Sand the Surface
NO MESH
Add IRF
Apply Liquid Activator
Let it cure for 15-20 seconds
Sand the surface
Place Mesh on top of the sanded IRF surface
Add IRF
Apply Liquid Activator
Let it cure for 15-20 seconds
Sand the Surface

You can do much more to the outside of this hood to better hide the crack, but this is a riding mower! #itsnotthespaceshuttle
