The Dolphin is coming, but it's the BYD Atto 3 EV that deserves the hype.

This new-generation electric SUV from the Build Your Dreams brand out of China has set the sales charts alight, easily becoming the most popular EV under $60K.

Why is the BYD Atto 3 so popular? It's pretty affordably priced, and has an extensive standard equipment list with gear like heated seats, sat nav and a panoramic sunroof standard.

It is also really good in terms of size and packaging, and indeed it makes some petrol or diesel -- or even HYBRID -- SUVs at this kind of money look a bit silly, given how well this stacks up.

Are there any problems? Maybe a few. But watch the review to see if you think you'd be happy with this EV SUV. I think I would be!
