VENDREDI (Friday), A young Black African boy, crosses the desert alone to reach Morocco, in order to
be in the circus. He meets WHITE MAN, an old man, who wants to go to his granddaughter’s wedding,
but has lost his dromedary.
Together, they start a journey into a harsh and difficult no man’s land, and build a very special relationship,
as a father to his son, and a son to his father. They travel and share their fears and dreams and their
unique vision of the world. Those emotions bind them to each other, especially when Friday saves
White Man from a mine and also pulls him for a long distance when the old man gets sick, until an
army stops them and lets us know that White man has just sold Friday as a slave! Friday finds himself
in a circus bigger than the one he dreamt of: ISIS. He becomes Oliver Black!
