Finding and learning about new cars is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the collector car business. I happened across an image of a black Lamborghini Countach Downdraft on Instagram, which led to one of the best car discoveries CURATED has made to date! This particular black on tan Countach Downdraft happened to be located in Caracas, Venezuela, and belonged to an extremely passionate individual. It took several years for the owner to decide he wanted to sell it, but ultimately it was well worth the wait! They had a custom built box with all kinds of documents, service records, and photos of the car, but the story gets better - after receiving the car and doing a little more research, we realized this car was sold in Ft. Lauderdale, and was in one of the most iconic Countach photos, as well as being featured on the cover of Sports Car Illustrated. It goes to show you never what you're going to find, and where you might find it!
