In this video we show how to change the transfer case oil a 100 Series Landcruiser. The video applies to all 100 series Landcruiser models (UZJ100, HDJ100, FZJ105, HZJ105) and the Lexus LX470. The transfer case shown is HF2A.

Parts and Consumables required:
1.3L of SAE 75W-90 API GL-4 or GL-5 multipurpose gear oil
2x drain/fill plug gaskets – Toyota part no. 90430-18008
1x drain plug – Toyota part no. 90341-18057 (Optional)
1x fill plug – Toyota part no. 90341-18006 (Optional)
Paper towels or rags
Brake & parts cleaner or degreaser

Tools:
Socket set – 12mm and 24mm
Socket wrench to suit above sockets
Torque wrench to suit above sockets (21-27 lb-ft, 28-37 Nm)
Drain pan (Minimum 2L)
Hand pump bottle (e.g., STM Tom Thumb)
Flathead screwdriver

Recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Safety glasses
Nitrile Gloves
