Spider-Man Symbiote Echoes Game with Venom as a playable character. Here is part two of the snow level with Venom! What you see in the thumbnail of the video is Venom's stealth camo. Venom actually has the ability in the comics to camouflage with any background which is pretty awesome. So there will be some neat mechanics in the future that deal with this ability.
With venom's rage activated (the yellow bar at the top left) it will unlock and allow several different abilities. For now he slams the floor and instantly kills those around him. There are at least 50 different AI characters on the map each following their own path. There are also 10 different spider gadgets to look for. I will be adding other collectibles as well.
I am currently working on several new mechanics for the game, this is still Venom's V1 build, but soon there will be a V2 build. I am focusing on Venom and Carnage for now considering there are hardly any games that allow you to control them out there. Spider-Man has dozens of videogames including Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man Web of Shadows and Marvel's Spider-Man for PS4. I will be putting Spider-Man into the game but not until 2021.
This game is being created entirely by one person, me. The venom and carnage models you see are my own. All the animations are also created by me. It is still in very early development and will take years to create. It is playable on a PC and also has a Playstation control scheme.
