Our favorite beaches are the ones less traveled. This is on google maps and easily found and accessible so I assumed we’d meet the beach with lots of people there. To get to the beach you have to walk through a cute little trail and it’s hard to believe you get to a beach at the end with how dense it is. It opens up to the beautiful beach down a hill and right into the sand. We saw two different sets of photographers for about 30 minutes and then only one other person on the beach when we got there. We had the beach to ourselves for a bit then two young Japanese fisherman showed up with rods and fished for a few min then checked out the kids and their findings. They helped the kids search for creatures for about 20 minutes. They were so nice! They didn’t speak much English and I’m pretty sure Eli taught them how to say crab and biiig crab because that’s all they said after Eli said it to them! They went on their way and the kids searched for creatures for a solid 3 hours. We got there at low tide so it was perfect. While they searched for creatures I searched for sea glass. There were so many random pockets of the most perfect smooth sea glass. Stuck in little holes in the rocks and in crevices! It was such a peaceful beach we will be back for sure!
