• Watercolor paper is a MUST: 140lb cold press watercolor paper
• Brush: Princeton Heritage synthetic number 6 round watercolor brush
• Paint: I use paint tubes but I let the paint dry on my palette. You will see in this video how I re-wet the paint when I start a new painting. At the beginner level, travel sets with watercolor pans are great! I recommend Sakura Koi sets and Winsor & Newton sets.
• Water (in a cup, bowl, jelly jar, any vessel that holds liquid - but be careful if you use a coffee mug so you don't accidentally drink it)
• Paper towel or some sort of scrap rag to blot your brush if it seems too wet.
